Unlike other artists on Petcord, Fabio Keiner from Vienna, Austria did not have any ambitions of creating his
own music before the advent of VST-synths and software based sound sampling technology and the Internet. This
suddenly changed with the discovery of Giacinto Scelsi's music, which soon was followed by Morton Feldman, La
Monte Young and Peter Michael Hamel before he was finally veering towards a gloomy ambient adaption of generative
music. Dubbing himself a music illiterate, his main interest is in improvised sound which more or less
may contain aspects of a worked out composition.
