João Clemente is a Portuguese composer who incorporates a wide range of influences into his music and extends his activities to improvisations, theatre, painting and cinema. Currently attending the School of Applied Arts for electronic music and music production, his focus has shifted more to the field of sound collages mixing electroacoustic, feedback/noise, found sounds and field recordings to experimental audio tracks for non-existent films. According to João, his artistic goal is to be aware of the surrounding environment and understand the space where the objects are inserted into.
