Night Drone is meant as a dark and heady soundtrack for nighttime hours and is the alter ego of Cologne based artist Steven Deacid. Simultaneously frowning and gripping, a minimalist scenario stripped down to the core of Drone, Dark Ambient and experimental soundscapes is presented to the listener. After all, reduction is about efficiency. Expressing the essence of a thought with a minimum of integrients and without compromising the overall impression is one of Steven's signature approaches to Music, even in other branches he is practising. And thus, despite a sparse arrangement, tone paintings vividly emerge and exhibit gloomy but notable worlds of their own.
