NP are the reversed initials of French artist Philippe Nore whose music combines experimental miniatures of electroacoustic structures which emphasise the artificial nature of their origin by adding harshly reassembled sound fragments and processing artifacts as a means to create vivid patterns of transformation. With some of his works only lasting a couple of seconds, NP has specialised on the art of expressing a thought concisely and efficiently.
