René Muñoz Córdova is a Chilean composer currently living in Spain with a vivid interest in combining
electroacoustic abstraction with isolated elements from more conventional music genres. His work gravitates towards contemporary
classic and electroacoustic with a greater focus on deconstructing sound elements. In René Muñoz Córdova's
music one can perceive processed field recordings next to vocoder and speech synthesis samples, stuttering percussions, patches
of strings, bleeping computer sounds, feedback or chopped pianos. The integration of the paradox results in an consistent aural
universe where dissonance and harmony can peacefully coexist and extend the range of expression.
