The anonymous collective Digital Mass, known from several Teetrunk releases and
currently located in Southeast Europe, have decided to open the gates of the new year on Petcord with a deconstruction of Phillip
Wilkerson's original drone. Its original fluffy sounds were subverted by Digital Mass to match their gloomy vision of Old World
aesthetics. Chromatic aberrations blur the motif that would otherwise carry an abstract name as a distant drone is emerging from
the foggy haze. A glimpse of sunlight refracted in her kaleidoscope eyes to form recursive patterns of infinity. Some kind of meta
minimalist drone curve the surrounding space-time that the sense of precise uniformity is lost.
There are many different ways of growing: One is to start in the middle and expand, rather than following a sequential order. The same applies to Digital Mass' approach that allows visitors to participate without missing out on something that could exclude them from the journey to the inside. Never have we been so mystified before, Thomas reaches out for the skies like the old trees in the park, whereas I chose to watch the colours change their gloss as the sound signal approaches. The course of time - another abstraction in the wake of the moment, where thoughts and choices simultaneously ramify in absence.
