Electric Landscapes of Rebellion are from Spain who also perform under the telling name Campo de Interferencias (interference field),
emphasising their tendency to use distorted and/or overly processed signals as substantial part of their take on electroacoustic music. But interference also means
disruption of an established order, as is any kind of rebellion, which closes the link to their Petcord release. The rural scenery of a noisy pigsty with piano
exercises in the background does not give away much of the abrasive, restless figures about to draw during the cause of the following movements, which are distinct
soundscapes for themselves.
Another recurring element is the deconstruction of ambience and familiarity: Small audio fragments torn apart and spliced together differently, with developing figures and their variations. On Electric Landscapes with Pigs & Piano, dynamic contrasts vary from near silence to harsh noise, even the sound characteristics can be anything from muffled low key drones to ear piercing high frequency overtones. The only constant to be expected is the unexpected shift and its integration into previous stages of sound until eventually, a restless, hyperactive final combines all previously created virtual spaces to a new entity.

The release is available as both single mp3 download and entire package including artwork. Some browsers may automatically play the file rather than offering a dialogue what to do with the latter, so in this case downloads may not be that straight forward. In case your favourite browser happens to exhibit exactly that behaviour, simply right click the link, and then a context menu should appear that offers something like "Save as" or "Save location as".
