Vb K., Russian artist Gusev K.P.'s first release for the Petcord netlabel, examplifies the core principles of
his music: A continuous stream of motives without a clear beginning or end. Instead, the listener may continue or stop
at any given moment, because the elements revolve around a common origin without exact repetition. Stochastic processes
constantly modify the nuances, new colours flare up and fade away, but the basic framework remains familiar enough
to provide the illusion of an eternal presence. At any rate, Vb K. remains a work that sturdily refuses to fit into
any given category, other than taking an experimental approach with sound oddities and irregular patterns.
